I loved PD1 and 2, and was going to upgrade to a PS5 just based on that, glad I waited. I think games overall are lame on PS, but will wait for GTA or KF3 to be released, until then my PS4 is staying.

I had this game on epic day one and droped it pretty fast, grabed it on steam again and got all dlc gifted on top. Holy shit did they WORK on this game, feels completely different and it's quite fun !

Well this video aged badly, considering things such as 3 shot health 2 shot ICTV as well as being all around better than the DLC decks that came out. Generally that is. Anarchist is still a busted generalist thanks to the wonders of armor gatting. But crew chief is THE most safe option. It's not armorer with it's lower health threshold and it's not muscle with its proximity based priority aggro bolstering that has niche case scenarios such as drill repairs, but it doesn't have the same upsides such as 2 second invulnerability and an innate regen and spreading fear mechanic. It's very vanilla.

I already saw the catmaid photo in a LilGuyG video. I am excited to see how much blood Kknowley spills.

Tbh i think the ai mechanic needs an overhaul, the payday gang i mean, if you have played crime boss rockay city omfg its similar to payday but their team mechanics are soo much bette, you can swap characters mid heist, they will grab loot and take it to the van automatically if it has gone loud,you dont have to waste radio answers because you can zip tie guards without killing them in stealth, you dont have masks but if you but you can out youre guns away and go back into public areas like nothing happened, you can jump without having to be masked either, thwir system is so much better and built on the same engine, this is what is needed, being able to mask off if you have not been detected, being able to take guards down without having to kill them or answering radios if you dont kill them, and having youre ai team not be completely useless in loud missions, because you spend most of the time doing everything yourself.

Can you beat Payday 2 as a gunslinger/outlaw/cowboy Rules are simple, age appropriate weapons (Reapeater 1874, Peacemaker, Frenchman, Claire 12g, throwing knives/axes...you know the deal) while mostly hip firing...basically just the Robin Hood run but more yeehaw

I from the get go liked this game and later, when Payday 3 came out, recognized it had twice the heart, three times the flair and four times the polish. I'm glad it was being worked on and improved.

I hate arcade style games. I'm happy that they made a comeback, but this ain't it. The crime genre is way too underserved.

Honestly with how lacking Payday 3 turned out, and what this looks like to me. I'm sold. I'd love to see more of it because it seems like a way better spiritual successor to Payday 2, than the actual sequel. The way it was presented, it seems to have the Payday heisting formula, the cheesy humor that feels like a parody of every action movie ever, and honestly interesting systems. I'm sure gonna buy it even if to see wether it's as fun as it seems.

At this point I'm very tempted to say something like... Well I mean it's not payday 3 but it's a breath of fresh air into the Co-op shooter, stealther, heister.

just saw on steam that its has offline mode so its already doing something better than payday 3 and only being 20 and on sale currently it might not be bad to buy.
